ALPINE MOMENTS
In the footsteps of E.T. Compton
Photography and painting by Michael Zacek
Michael Zacek captures the archaic effect of nature in a mood-rich and technically refined manner. He personally explores all the displayed motifs and initially captures the mountain world with his camera. Through intensive revision with a strong application of texture and color, three-dimensionality is regained. The resulting spatial "real view" makes his works appear deep and vibrant. On the occasion of the 175th anniversary of E.T. Compton's birth, Michael Zacek follows the traces and motifs of the alpine painter.
