Alm Festival Wurzeralm with Night of the Mountain Fires – a Festival for the Whole Family

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the traditional Alm Festival will take place at Wurzeralm. Here, traditions are cherished, laughter, singing, dancing, and much more happen. Children (and also adults) can enjoy themselves and experience exciting activities at numerous stations.
A diverse musical live program provides the backdrop, featuring the Xandis and the Fetzenplattler.

Night of the Mountain Fires as the Highlight of the Alm Festival

A breathtaking and undoubtedly the centerpiece of the Alm Festival will once again be the traditional Night of the Mountain Fires. Members of the mountain rescue services of the Pyhrn-Priel region will light the "Peter and Paul Fires" on the surrounding mountain peaks at 10 PM. Surrounded by lively music, an atmosphere is created here that one will likely not forget for a long time. The last descent of the funicular railway occurs at midnight, and there are also discounted prices on the event day.
