Lovingly restored historic country house in a dream location. You can reach the Steyr River Lodge via your own driveway, which is accessible by car all year round. Your temporary home is on a large property with 40,000 sqm of forest and meadows directly on the banks of the Steyr at the foot of the Kleine Priel. The secluded property stands by its historical roots: carefully selected furnishings with antique farm furniture create stylish cosiness. At the same time, the house offers all the necessary comfort for a relaxing stay. Our philosophy is to create an oasis of calm and relaxation for you in a breathtaking place, directly in nature. In summer, use the "Flötzersteig" hiking trail that runs past the house. In winter, the Höss ski area is available, which you can reach 5 km away by car or by ski bus. Own well. Heating with 3 wood stoves, firewood from our own forest. Yamaha electric piano. BBQ area and heavy 16-inch smoker. Italian portafilter coffee machine in a fully equipped kitchen with 90 cm Smeg gas stove for culinary activities. Garden furniture. Leave the A9 motorway at the Hinterstoder exit. Drive the federal road direction Kirchdorf. At the first intersection, turn left onto the Stodertaler Landesstraße towards Hinterstoder. After approx. 3.3 km you will reach the road bridge over the Steyr. Immediately before the bridge there is a small hiking car park on the Steyr on the right. Drive on this and then follow the forest path "Flößersteig" for approx. 1 km. You will reach Steyr River Lodge.
